STEP 1: Summary
In this module, you learned about how to create a points-based or percentage-based Canvas grade book. Additionally, you learned there are many automatic features in the grade book that will enforce your syllabus policies. Finally, the grade book allows you to quickly and efficiently communicate with students when they need a nudge.

In the next module, you will learn some of ways to grade using Canvas, how to setup a rubric for assignments, and how to take attendance in any modality.
